David Champney is the President of Champney Yacht Sales. David's background includes 30 years of experience in
selling and servicing Hatteras, Grand Banks, and Navigator
yachts. He was the recipient of the prestigious Hatteras
Salesman of the Year award in 1982, and has a continuous record
of receiving the annual Hatteras Distinguished Sales Award for
superior sales accomplishments.
Champney Yachts is a leader in the marine industry with its
professional sales organization located in Wilmington, North
Carolina. An experienced service group operates Champney Yacht
Service at the Wilmington Marine Center, located on the Cape
Fear river in Wilmington, North Carolina. |

After a 20-plus year career in industrial packaging, Ray Kuneyl
decided to make a lifelong hobby and dream become a reality.
Being surrounded by boats his entire life served as the catalyst
for Ray to quit his job and completely start over as a yacht
broker. Now, Ray enjoys selling yachts as much as he enjoys
owning them.
Ray has always lived in coastal areas as well. Just being near
large bodies of water has given Ray the desire to have others
enjoy the water as much as he does. He first worked with a
Wellcraft dealer, later moving to a larger brokerage firm.
Ray makes the acquisition of a yacht as smooth and hassle-free
as possible, and understands that when a client is making the
decision to purchase a yacht, he deserves nothing less than a
salesman's full attention. |

Michael Hague - Sales

Michael Comes from generations of avid boaters, including power
and sailing yachts. Growing up spending time on the water, he
developed a passion for boats. Ranging from sport fishing to
offshore sailing deliveries, Michael has a tremendous amount of
hands on boating experience. Before moving back to Wilmington,
Michael was a live aboard in Charleston while continuing sail
boat deliveries. One of Michael's other passions is traveling.
His boating and travel experiences can help you find the right
boat for almost any occasion or location. |
